'Batwoman' writers quit after being told that plans for the restyled red-headed lesbian to marry were 'banned'

I’m so glad comic book characters were asexual when I was a kid!  Introducing Lesbianism in comic books is how the LBGTs indoctrinate kids into the lifestyle. 

Daily Mailreports the authors of the ‘Batwoman’ comic have announced that they are leaving due to creative differences with DC Comics.

Co-authors J.H. Williams and W. Haden Blackman will leave after issue #26 of the comic series is released in December.

They have said their decision is due to be asked at the last moment to alter or discard long-standing storylines, including one about same-sex marriage.

‘We were told to ditch plans for Killer Croc's origins; forced to drastically alter the original ending of our current arc, which would have defined Batwoman's heroic future in bold new ways; and, most crushingly, prohibited from ever showing Kate and Maggie actually getting married,’ they wrote in a blog post first reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

‘All of these editorial decisions came at the last minute, and always after a year or more of planning and plotting on our end.’

Williams and Blackman said they reached the decision to leave DC Comics because ‘the eleventh-hour nature of these changes left us frustrated and angry’ and prevented them from ‘telling the best stories we can.’ 

DC Comics have denied that the ‘editorial differences’ had anything to do with the sexual orientation of the character.

‘Batwoman’ first swung into action 50 years ago, helping her boyfriend Batman rid Gotham City of villains until she was killed off in 1979. 

She was reintroduced to the series in 2006 when it was announced that she would be a lesbian and also a redhead.
