Details are beginning to emerge about the mytery couple that committed double suicide by jumping in front of a LIRR train.
Police have identified the couple who leaped to their deaths in Queens in front of an LIRR train reports New York Daily News.
MTA police were withholding the names of the man and woman, both described as about 30, pending notification of their relatives, sources said.
They appeared to make the fatal jump together from a Hollis Ave. station platform Monday night.
Terri Simmons, who lives nearby, said detectives told her they found a suicide note.
Police are investigating whether two people struck and killed by a westbound Long Island Rail Road train Monday night had a suicide pact.
Authorities did not release any information about the victims hit between the Hollis Ave. and Jamaica Ave. stations in Queens at 10:18 p.m. Monday.
