ABC News-FRESNO, Calif. -- Ada County Sheriff's office in Idaho says Hannah Anderson the San Diego teenmissing that was reported missing in an Amber Alert has been found safe
Officials say Hannah Anderson was found about 4:45 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Federal investigators found 40-year-old James DiMaggio in a remote area in the Western Idaho wilderness. Several state and federal agencies were able to surround the campsite.
DiMaggio was shot and killed by anFBI tactical team while they tried to arrest him. Hannah is said to be safe and in the hospital. Her father will be flown to Idaho later this evening to be with his daughter.
DiMaggio and Hannah had been on the run for a week after police say DiMaggio killed Hannah's 8-year-old brother Ethan, and their mother Christina at his house outside San Diego.
